I just wanted to email you to say Thank you so much for helping to organize my birthday celebration on Saturday! Me and my friend had a blast! It was the perfect venue and the private room was great and looked awesome!! We had over 80 people come and could not have asked for a better place to have it!!

12.22.12 - Best Cheesesteak in Philadelphia!

Recently I visited Philadelphia and had to taste some local cheesesteak sandwiches. First, I had a great cheesesteak with American cheese and onions at Tavern on Broad , located in the food court of The Bellevue Hotel. Amazing! Paper thin slices of meat, melted American cheese and small diced onions, everything served in a warm, freshly baked bread. To die for! Visit Website

11.03.12 - Surprise Birthday Bash

Hi Neina!

    I just wanted to write to you to express my gratitude for hosting my boyfriends party on Saturday night. I was SO pleased with the area set-up and it worked out perfectly for the initial surprise entrance!! The table and area were the perfect size. Everyone keeps texting me to tell me how much fun they had and how awesome of a place Tavern is. I will be telling all of my friends and family to host their parties there, and I will be a frequent visitor! Texting me to tell me the table was ready was above and beyond, and it did not go unnoticed.  THANK YOU so much!!!!

10.13.12 - 30th Birthday Party

Ira and I want to thank you for all of your help in making our 30th birthday celebration the best that it can be.  Everyone had a great time and cannot stop talking about it.  I can't wait to come back to my new favorite bar in philadelphia!  Everything was perfect.  Thank you again!!!

04.02.12 - Fundraising

Dear Madison and Neina,

On behalf of Harambee USA, THANK YOU SO MUCH for hosting our wonderful happy hour this past Friday. We raised $700 which is really incredible- all the funds support former street boys in Kenya, and $700 in Africa goes a loooong way. Your venue was the perfect place- great location, great space, and great drink deal.

You were both great to work with. Thanks again!

03.26.12 - IU Game Watch!!

I just wanted to thank you guys for the past few months. Even though our Hoosiers didn't win it all, it was still an amazing season and it will only get better from here. I was extremely happy with the setup over at the Tavern on Broad, and hopefully our club will continue to grow and get more people out in the upcoming years. You have a great staff there and I think everyone was happy with the service. Thanks again and see you soon.

Again, I would just like you to know how much we love Tavern on Broad and we've told all our friends about the amazing experiences we've had there!  All your bartenders are fabulous and there's never a wait no matter how packed the place is!  Our office is right next to another bar and that used to be our typical Friday night happy hour hang out, but we'd rather walk down to Tavern since we know we will all have a much better evening there!

I wanted to thank you for being so helpful during the planning and the execution of my happy hour fundraiser. The event was great! We raised funds and initiated some  new energy for our dance company and helped introduce us to a new audience. Thank you again for all of your guidance, clear communication, and positivity!
 
Also, please pass along to the staff that they were very impressive! There were so many guests ordering, moving around, starting tabs, sharing food, etc.--aka a lot to deal with and our waitress/other staff was so pleasant, accommodating and organized! We were all very pleased!

I just wanted to let you know that we were really happy with our party last Saturday night. Tom, our waiter, did a great job. It was a chaotic setting with so many people coming in and out of the area but he was friendly the whole time and quick to bring out all of our drink orders. Everyone had a great time!
